About The Project

Working with British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority, we provided two targeted communications pieces to promote their Provincial Perinatal Substance Use Project’s free blended learning course, SafeCare.

This process involved interviews with the client to understand their communications goals, audiences, and distribution channels; followed by developing pitch scripts and storyboards which eventually led to the final edits. Using a mix of original motion design, existing footage, and stock footage, final scripts and imagery were approved and we secured voice talent from Heather Andrews. After producing first drafts, the client enthusiastically approved the final videos and launched their campaigns after only one short round of minor revisions.

Additionally, we created the final logo animation for SafeCare working under our collaborator Leah Chang Learning (who led the course development) and provided all of the video editing support for the online course. This included developing an overall video style, titles, lower thirds, kinetic typography, intro and outro bumpers, and custom motion graphics used to explain complex concepts. After completing the editing of over 60 elearning videos within a quick two week timeframe, the course is now live.
